PMGA 2017 Conference Workshops

PMGA enrollees may earn up to four secondary credits by taking certain designated conference workshops. Attending the workshop and passing the quiz will provide you with one secondary credit. You can take up to four PMGA-eligible workshops. The cost for each credit is $25. These workshop credits are in addition to the four elective credits you receive for attending the conference.


PMGA Administrative Primary Course - 4/22/17 - Dauphin County

The PMGA Administrative Primary course is designed to provide Academy participants with a broad overview of the principal responsibilities relating to municipal administration.  Attendees will develop a base of knowledge to prepare more concentrated look at administration topics contained in secondary courses.


PMGA Introduction Course - 4/23/17 - Dauphin County

This full-day session will introduce attendees to many facets of local government that elected and appointed officials encounter during their terms or appointments. This highly-interactive session is structured around a series of scenarios, presenting attendees with an opportunity to develop their problem-solving skills and improve their ability to lead during challenging situations. 


PMGA Planning Primary Course - 4/23/17 - Dauphin County

The PMGA Planning Primary course is designed to provide Academy participants with a broad overview of the principal responsibilities relating to municipal planning. Attendees will develop a base of knowledge to prepare them for a more concentrated look at planning topics contained in secondary courses.


PMGA Public Safety Primary Course - 4/22/17 - Dauphin County

The PMGA Public Safety Primary course is designed to provide Academy participants with a broad overview of the principal responsibilities relating to municipal public safety.  Attendees will develop a base of knowledge to prepare them for a more concentrated look at administration topics contained in secondary courses.
