First Amendment: Twp. Employees, Residents and Freedom of Speech - On-Demandd Webinar

Description

The First Amendment plays a significant role in the lives of elected and appointed municipal officials and employees. Whether they are managing employees, sharing information with residents or the media about recent votes, upcoming projects or other hot-button issues, engaging in debate about potential ordinances, or taking public comment during meetings, municipal officials and employees need to be aware of their rights and responsibilities under the First Amendment. This webinar, (which is FREE to PSATS members), will provide participants with a firm foundation for how to protect their rights, as well as those of the public and their employees, while also leaving them with practical tips to limit legal exposure to their municipality.
